CHURCH SERVICE AT ST MARGARET’S CHURCH, LEICESTER – A GATHERING OF UNITY AND FAITH

On Sunday 23rd August 2026, members of the Knights Templar Province of Leicestershire & Rutland gathered at St Margaret’s Church, Leicester for a special service held at 4:00 p.m. The historic church provided a beautiful and fitting setting for an afternoon of reflection, fellowship, and shared faith.

The congregation was warmly welcomed by David Bull, Provincial Prior, who expressed his delight at seeing such a strong turnout. Members from all affiliated Masonic Orders were present, joined by family, friends, and supporters, creating a truly inclusive and uplifting atmosphere.

The service was led by The Reverend Anthony W. Avery, whose thoughtful words and gentle guidance set a tone of unity and purpose. His address encouraged those present to consider the values of service, charity, and companionship, principles deeply rooted in both Christian teaching and the traditions of the Knights Templar.
